We operate on a 24 hours a day / 5 days a week plus single shifts at weekend basis, therefore offering an unrivaled service. All programming and planning for the 14 wire erosion machines is carried out by Mr Higson and then downloaded to a highly skilled workforce.
Wirex has 3 Charmiles ran type sink eroders with opening style tanks that enable large work pieces or long shafts to be accommodated.
We have 14 wire erosion machines which are all 4 axis, can take up to 1 ton on bed and can cut through upto a thickness of 425mm.
It is a source of considerable pride at Wirex as it carries sub-contract work on super critical turbine blades for civil aircraft and nuclear establishments. The company has been accredited with ISO 9001 and is working towards world class status
